The use of LED lighting for cucumber cultivation with GROW lamps means increased crop yields and up to 40% lower energy consumption compared to HPS lamps. The reduction in operating costs is also due to the durability and longer lifespan of our devices. This is guaranteed by the thoughtful design of GROW with a replaceable power supply and light sources.
In developing the GROW spectrum, we focused, among other things, on optimizing LED lighting for cucumber cultivation, taking into account the flowering period. GROW emits a light spectrum that increases the number of buds and flowers compared to plants grown under HPS lamps. An additional benefit achieved from supplementing cucumber lighting with the Bilberry fixture is a more compact shape of these plants.

Knowledge and experience
In the GROW configuration for supplementing light for cucumbers, we also took into account the results of the latest research regarding the appropriate ratio of red to blue light for plants. They show that green light effectively supports the action of blue light. For this reason, GROW consists of LED diodes that provide a full spectrum of photosynthetically active radiation when supplementing light for cucumbers, also emitting green light.
At Bilberry, we have created a complete system to clearly facilitate home cultivation of fruits and vegetables. The lighting for cucumbers can be managed through a panel on the fixture or wirelessly communicated using the free mobile app available.
