Laboratory lighting in the form of the specialized research fixture Bilberry provides an effective aid in conducting photobiological research. Since this type of scientific discipline deals with the effects of light on living organisms and encompasses various aspects of light's influence on processes such as photosynthesis, pigmentation, movement, and development of plants, as well as many others, we offer you a specialized tool, which is research lighting for the laboratory. We aim to assist researchers in better understanding the interaction of light with living organisms and utilizing this knowledge for various purposes, such as the development of new technologies or the formulation of effective methods for the protection of plants and animals.

We are relentless in our efforts to dynamically develop our product and provide scientists with the fullest possible capability to configure the spectrum of the diode and control the spectrum of LED light at a low system operating cost.

VARIO Research Framework

VARIO is a research fixture with a variable spectrum. Its main application is in studies using light. The fixture has the ability to shape the spectrum in the range from 280 nm (UV) to 855 nm (IR). This functionality allows for the modification of morphological characteristics and the control of metabolic reactions in plants and microorganisms. VARIO is available in two sizes: 1200 mm and 600 mm. The longer one has two LED panels and a power of 200 W. The shorter one has one LED panel and a power of 100 W.

LED panel configuration

The configuration involves selecting SMD LEDs that create the spectrum of the lamp. The LEDs are placed on 9 channels, which can be controlled independently. LEDs of individual colors are repeated on each of the 9 pixels. The independence of the channels allows for arbitrary control of the intensity of individual colors of light, as well as their activation and deactivation.
